  • The right to withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data at any time. Please note, however, that we may still be entitled to process your personal data if we have another legitimate reason for doing so. For example, we may need to retain personal information to comply with a legal obligation.
  • In some circumstances, the right to receive some personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and/or request that we transmit those data to a third party where this is technically feasible. For the purposes of our compliance with Anti-Money Laundering obligations, for example, we will store your personal data for five years beginning on the date on which our business relationship has come to an end. Please note that this means your data is stored for five years post your final transaction with C14, not your initial transaction with C14.

We will cease the retention of your personnel data, or remove the means by which the data can be linked with you, as soon as it is reasonable to assume that such retention no longer serves the purpose for which the personal data was collected, and is no longer necessary for maintaining our compliance, regulatory or legal obligations.

C14 Data Protection Safeguards Explained

We maintain (and contractually requires third parties that share your personal data to maintain) appropriate physical, technical and administrative safeguards to protect the security and confidentiality of your personal data both during transmission and at rest.

For example, we use industry standard encryption methods, such as TLS/SSL protocol, for all data transmissions and we store all data in encrypted databases to ensure the security of your data.

No data storage system or data transmission can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. We cannot  guarantee that the information you supply will not be intercepted while being transmitted over the Internet. E-mail, in particular, that is sent to us may not be secure, and you should therefore take special care in deciding what information you send to us via e-mail. Sensitive documents and information should always be submitted via our portal rather than sent over e-mail, which may be less secure. You are responsible for protecting your password(s) and maintaining the security of your browsers and devices.

If you have reason to believe that your personal data is no longer secure, please contact us immediately at: [email protected].
